When we were 17 years old, James and I swam out to a wrecked sailboat in the Caribbean sea. - The boat had seemingly crashed into a reef. Its contents bobbed in the small waves, abandoned and beautiful in the turquoise waters of the Bahamas. - We explored the salty shipwreck, floating on the boat's old wooden beams. That auspicious day, we promised eachother we'd grow up to be pirates. One day, we swore, we would wander all the mysteries the world held in store for us. - Sitting now on the Gulf shores of Texas, we are reminded of our high school longing to see the world. And here we are. - With vision and love, any young dream can come true.

When did time become so scarce? - People in the modern world are always saying they wish they had more of it. - What they don't realize is that they'd have time, and lots of it, if they stopped spending all the precious minutes they have on money. - Work is important and valuable. I'm not suggesting it should be abolished. But its hold on our collective mindset needs to be shaken. There is more to life than work. (Besides that, we haven't figured out how to live without money.) - Let's put this work obsession to an end and reclaim idle time. When you need less money, you'll always have enough minutes in the day. #idletheory

We did nothing all day. - The Rio Grande ran past us like it had somewhere to go. Mexico waved to us languidly from the other side of the current. - Some days are so perfect they make you terribly depressed, because days like that may never come again. #idletheory #mawrfun

To enter just tag three friends in the giveaway photo we posted Monday, follow all of our giveaway partners and you're entered! This blanket is one of our mandatory for vanlife items. This multi use throw goes from being a picnic blanket, to campfire warmer, to our go to blanket on the bus without ever having to even wipe it down. There's no other blanket you can throw on a soggy ocean side rock and immediately use as your bed comforter.

This week we are guest judges for @passionpassport 's #ppheretothere challenge. Share your pics of how you get from here to there with the #ppheretothere hashtag for a chance to be featured on their Instagram! We thought we would post a picture from the Valdez, Alaska area. With numerous bad snow years in a row we had to redefine our skiing/snowboarding experience as our local resorts were no longer getting significant snow coverage. We began using a snowmachine (snowmobile to the rest of the world) as our chairlift. We let snow conditions dictate where in Alaska we would ride, and we let Avalanche conditions dictate which lines we would ski. It opened up a world of possibilities, often our motorized chairlift up is more fun than the ski down, and the views we began accessing were beyond belief! Today is the last day to enter so post your entries!!
